DEVELOPING A DECENTRALIZATION FRAMEWORK AND A NEEDS ASSESSMENT FOR THE MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT REGIONAL DIRECTORATES – “PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND BIODIVERSITY IN JORDAN II” (PROTEB II)

The objective of the project is: The capacity of the Ministry of Environment for policy-making and management is increased. Project activities focus on three areas: (1) Increasing the capacity of the Ministry of Environment (MoEnv) to prioritize environmental legislation for further development and implementation; (2) Enhancing environmental monitoring to serve as a solid and transparent basis for decision-making; and (3) Improving cooperation with non-governmental organizations, the private sector, and other state institutions (including municipalities).
