DESIGN OF A NATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS OBSERVATORY

Design a National Competitiveness Observatory (NCO) to help benchmark Syria’s competitiveness against that of a selected group of countries and disseminate the findings to help improve the competitiveness of Syria by providing information to the public sector in the form of extensive indicators, data, and analysis around the factors that determine competitiveness, and acting as a center for communicating emerging issues and trends in the private sector, and identifying obstacles to economic development. Creating a public-private partnership to implement remedial actions for sustaining and enhancing the competitiveness of the Syrian economy and domestic sectors.
