The “Technical Assistance for Public Financial Management Reforms” is a project funded by the European Union (EU) with an envelope of 2 M€ for a period of 26 months, starting from April 2016 to May 2018. Expertise France (French Technical Cooperation Agency), together with German Technical Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and the Jordanian partner EnConsult, implements it. Its overall objectives are to support Public Finance Management (PFM) Public finance reforms that aim to enhance accountability and public service delivery through improved Government performances. It benefits the Government of Jordan and especially the Ministry of Finance, the General Budget Department, the Income and Sales Tax Department, and the Audit Bureau. This project generally supports the public finance and administration reforms and aims to enhance accountability and public service delivery through improved Government performance.
